Not usually: Wisdom teeth develop around 10 years old. They will erupt, or "sprout" around 16 years. Most people have 4 (2 on top and 2 on bottom). If you only had one removed, you should follow up with your dentist. There may be others which didn't require removal, or may not have been developed enough. There are many other causes of jaw pain. Please see your dentist, he may want an x-ray of your jaw.
