Way to long: Has to be a reason. See the Oral Surgeon that did your extractions. Se another GP for a second opinion. Seek examination at a Dental School Oral Medicine Department.

A few thoughts...: Bruxism, malocclusion,, and clenching may all be contributing factors. Were those causes also addressed?
