Should i get plica surgery? mri shows nothing wrong other than a plica. hurts when walking & doing pt exercises. deep bending is necessary (i dance)

Talk to Orthopedics: 1st, make sure that the plica is the cause of your pain. Only a good Orthopedic specialist (preferably a knee surgery specialist) should do an exam & go over your symptoms to make the diagnosis. 2nd, nonsurgical treatment like Naproxen or Cortisone injections can be tried. Surgery should be reserved as a final option if diagnosis confirmed & nothing else works. Talk to your doctor for referral. GL
