Orthopedic Spine Surgery 32 years experience
Not best test: Emg confirms nerve damage and dysfunction Mri searches for correctable causes of new post op neurologic deficits after surgery post op L5 injuries and foot drops have a poor recovery rate in general a AFO brace can make a big difference in return to function , i favored the ottobach afo for my foot drop recovery is generally prolonged and incomplete but not unheard of good luck recover or adapt
