Possibly: There could be a problem with that other tooth as well. If you have taken amox. Many times in the past then it may not work as well as it used to as the bacteria in your mouth could be more resistant to it. Dry socket may be another issue here, it would be a good idea to go back to your dentist and have them check the area again.

Call your dentist: Since this is a different tooth than the one which was pulled, please call your dentist and ask for specific advice. You may have a resistant infection, or the location could have been incorrect to begin with. Dentists have emergency call systems -- someone should be covering and be able to respond to you.
