Coincidence: A cough would not develop as a complication of having an endoscopic procedure a few days before.Even if you were to have the unusual and serious complication of esophagus perforation the typical symptoms that would result include pain, vomiting, breathlessness, fever, chills.However, persistent coughing is at a minimum annoying but may be significant. Be evaluated at Urgent Care/see your Doc
