How long before methotrexate works for jra? how long do u need to be on it before adding another med like enbrel (etanercept)?

See details: If you have a good response to Methotrexate it can remain effective indefinitely. I will add a tnf like Enbrel (etanercept) if Methotrexate is not effective after 3-4 months at a dose of at least 20 mg weekly.
