Which is better when treating jra in a. 7 year old. enbrel (etanercept) or remacide infusions ?

No correct answer: There is no one answer here to your question. Both medicines have their plusses and minuses.Have a discussion with child's rheumatologist as to which may be better in your child's individual case. If no big difference from treatment standpoint, consider what's better for your child with regards to administration. Enbrel (etanercept) is usually a shot once or twice a week, while remacade is given IV weeks apart.

Both are excellent: I usually start with Enbrel because parents can give injections at home and the shots are relatively painless (compared to humira--another excellent tnf-inhibitor). The Enbrel shots are twice per week and done at home while the Remicade (infliximab) IV infusions are usually every 4 weeks. Remicade (infliximab) works better for inflammatory bowel disease-related arthritis and uveitis (eye inflammation), similar to humira.
