Im taking 5000 mcg of b12 . since beginning this my serum level went from 500 to >2000, is the supplement the cause? read high levels can be cancer!!!

See below: Why are you taking B12? Daily requirement is not more than 5 mcg/day. Body usually has a store of B12 to last a year. High B12 is not a sign of cancer, but you are overdoing B12. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
