3 red painful bumps on mons pubis. not an ingrown hair or pimple. i am hsv1 positive, but this looks nothing like any previous outbreaks. my lymp?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor if the lesions are not healing. The bumps may be folliculitis, infection of hair follicles, that can occur without ingrown hair.
