Hi doc , i wanna ask my son is negative for tuberculin test but his x-ray is positive does he needs to undergo treatment?

Need more informatio: The abnormal lung may be not be tuberculosis - He will need an evaluation

What test: There is more than one tuberculosis screening test & some can be negative early or during the disease. Abnormalities on x-ray in tuberculosis are often typical, but some additional studies may be reasonable to exclude other potential causes of the abnormalities.
