Son,35,had cbc, & thyroid was off -tsh was 4.76 (high) & t4 was 1.2 (normal range)-does he need treatment for this? my doc did not give him anything, could this happen from stress? could it go back on its own? all other results were normal/in range?

Need Normal values for TSH. In most labs this would not e very "high". Why was TSH done in first place, Discussing with Dr. is next step. Son will have to give you permission to talk to Dr.

Graves disease with RAI treatment 15 yrs ago. Latest bloodwork normal T3 T4 but TSH is 83.3. What could cause that kind of number? Should I be concerned. My doc is ignoring it and going with T3 and 4 numbers to prescribe meds?
