The reverse is it: Severe gum inflammation , mostly on the lingual, the inside of the mouth, can be associated with reflux. So, you need a cleaning from a dentist who knows the condition and sequelae . Even cleaning on your own has to be more thorough . you need to rinse with water after a reflux. Try plain baking soda or a baking soda toothpaste to diminish the acid from the reflux. See a dentist soon !!
