Inaccurate brushing: The most common cause i see is that people are ineffective at oral hygiene. Most don't clean the most important sites--in between the teeth. Also, when they brush, theybrush their teeth instead of removing the plaque from the gumline--the junction of the teeth and gums. Have a good dental check-up and have a hygienist demonstrate proper techniques.

See a dentist: Different people have different needs. There could be an accumulation of calculus (tartar) on your teeth that must be removed professionally. There may be other underlying problems. See a dental professional for advice.
