Infections/allergy?: acid reflux shouldn't cause your tongue or gums to hurt or burn,but gingivitis from bad oral hygiene,or allergies from certain meds or foods can cause that burn. Maintain good oral hygiene through flossing brushing and the use of mouth rinses ,control the acid reflux through the proper meds and food restrictions,and see if the condition improves..
