R you sleeping well: The most common cause of "brain fog" is inadequate or non restorative sleep. This can occur due to snoring (sleep apnea) being restless in bed (periodic leg movements of sleep) and other sleep issues. I am not sure about your chronic inflammation. Food or environmental "allergies", indicate a strong/overactive immune system against external substances. and are not usually a cause of brain fog
