Urologist: Interstitial cystitis is a regional pain complex. Some cases respond to simple dietary measures but other cases are more difficult. Pelvic pain clinics have been developed as a way to deal with ic and typically include urologists, gynecologists, physical therapists and psychologists. This is likely the ideal setting to be seen. If not available a urologist would be a good choice.
