About 2 weeks less: Conception occurs approximately when a woman is "two weeks pregnant." It's just how pregnancy weeks are counted. Therefore, if she is 5 weeks pregnant now, conception was about 3 weeks ago (5 - 2 = 3). Remember, all dates are estimates and can be plus or minus one week.

41-14= 27 days ago: If you had a dating ultrasound performed by an experienced certified sonographer and if the margin of accuracy of your 5 weeks and 6 days dating scan is + or - 3 days, an estimated date of fertilization would be about 27 days earlier + or - 3 days (that is approximately 24 to 30 days ago)
