Trypanosomiasis: This is a blood test for trypanosomiasis, also called Chagas' disease. It can be quite dangerous and is a common cause of serious heart problems in large areas of Africa and Latin America. If you are from one of those areas or have visited there, your test is more likely to be positive. At a minimum, you need retesting. See a doctor, preferably an infectious diseases specialist. Not certain: This could be a lab error or crossover positive due to something else. You need to discuss with your physician but I don't think it's causing a problem
