Hi i have sle and recently did blood test. all results were clear only the autoimmune antibody sm result was positive at 97u/ml. what does result mean?

Antibodies to SM: Generally antibodies to smooth muscles are not present. Test result of 97 u/ml is considered positive, trend is more helpful than isolated number. When present, it usually indicates autoimmune hepatitis. These antibodies are uncommon in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Please revisit with your doctor. I hope it helps.
