I have a scar in my right nostril that doesn't want to heal. i've had it for about a week. my pcp says it doesn't look like cancer. what could it be?

Pimple?: Hard to say what it is without seeing it. Could be a pimple or a scab that you developed. I would not worry about it too much for a while. Likely will go away but after another week or so would get it looked at again if it is not gone.
