Tested positive for strep but the antibiotics are not helping. i have been taking them for almost a week. have all the symptoms of mono except a fever?

Get Rechecked: Strep throat typically responds to antibiotics quickly and people usually feel better in 1-2 days. If someone has been taking antibiotics for strep for a week and isn't feeling better it would be a good idea to f/u w/ their doctor to get rechecked and make sure there wasn't something else going on in addition or that complications haven't developed from strep.
