I went to the doctor with symptoms common with strep throat but it came back negative. i have only had a sore throat, fatigue, and fevers for about three days and im starting to feel better. even though im feeling better, could i still have mono?

Perhaps you have a viral uri, but if you wish to check for mononucleosis, reliable testing is available. In this day and age, a COVID-19 screen should also be included, if you have not been vaccinated.
