No risk, no worry: It is very unlikely the clinic reuses butterfly needles to draw blood. HIV probably can survive many hours in blood inside a needle. But because needles are not reused, this doesn't matter. As you probably know, medical care in Pakistan often is very sophisticated. But even in developing countries, HIV is rarely if ever caught by having blood drawn or by other needles or injections. No worries!
