Advanced stage 4 endometriosis. 2015 treated by hysterectomy + tubes/ovaries. how is recurrence diagnosed? currently use estrodiol 1mg for menopause.

Estrogen: Endometriosis needs estrogens to make symptoms. If after stopping the Estradiol 1mg - which is a low dose and should not cause endometriosis to grow to begin with - symptoms what is thought to be endometriosis persists, that diagnosis needs to be challenged - it's unlikely to be endometriosis.
