A member asked:

I had a hysterectomy at age 30, 8 years ago now, july 2019 had my ovaries, fallopian tubes removed. hrt for few years now, terrible side effects, so had to stop. endometriosis still persists, my leg pain is horrible its hard to walk and sit?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HRT side effects ? : HRT after hysterectomy and bilateral ovarian removal can activate endometriosis implants unaffected by removal of ovarian function, causing severe pelvic pain. Leg pain can be associated with clots, also possible secondary to HRT. See your gyn provider, who may recommend stopping HRT and other potential tests for leg pain, at least for time to reduce endometriosis remainders.
