hi i'm wondering because i've gained weight from hyperthyroid will i lose weight using the methimazole. since i'm on the opposite side of the spectru?

Not likely: People who are hyperthyroid usually lose weight because their metabolism is speeded up. The methimazole slows your metabolism down and weight gain can occur.
