A member asked:

I am taking methimazole and metoprolol to treat hyperthyroidism. are there any otc drugs i should not take at the same time?

Hyperthyroidism: Hi. As long as your hyperthyroidism is treated, any OTC drugs should be OK. Once the methimazole dose is effectively adjusted to attain normal thyroid function, you'll be able to stop the metoprolol, and that will be even better. Good luck!
