Sub clinical hypothy: This is chemical excess thyroid by blood testing but no clinical signs of hypothyroidism. Tricky DX in adults and must be even more so in infants. The need for RX will depend on the cause of the hypothyroidism. Trust you are being seen by a pediatric Endocrinologist,
