A member asked:

Whats the difference : psvt and sinus tachycardia? been told have nocturnal sinus tachycardia since my early 20's lasts few mins with fast regular bpm

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: PSVT comes in bursts and frequently is symptomatic, while ST is usually more persistent. Your history of mitral valve surgery frequently makes you more likely to have this, and Ventolin can make it worse. There are other inhalers that are not as likely to cause it--see your doctor. It can also mean that your mitral valve needs more attention. Inderal can make asthma worse, by the way.
