Tachycardia-CM: Sinus tachycardia or PSVT per say should not really affect the integrity of the mitral valve (original or repaired) per se, however, unfixed tachycardia of any kind if left untreated for a while (usually weeks-months) may lead to the so-called "tachycardia cardiomyopathy" which in turn may lead to mitral valve ring structural change or papillary muscle dysfunction which may also cause MV problem.
