Likely more bleeding: With fibroids, the bleeding is not likely to get better without treatment. Hysterectomy is one option. Sometimes other options are also possible, including uterine artery embolization, or endometrial ablation, depending on the details of your situation.

Surgery not only opt: Surgery is not your only option. Uterine artery embolization is a minimally invasive technique that can treat heavy bleeding with ~ 90% success. Regardless of what you chose if you have heavy bleeding causing anemia you should do something.
