Whats the best treatment for recurrent uti's?

Fluids/reg. voiding: Some patients get recurrent UTIs because they hold their urine too long so regular voiding when you feel the need is helpful. Some women get UTIs after sex so voiding before and after sex can help. Staying well hydrated and taking a multivitamin daily are also helpful in some cases.

Depends on cause: Sexually active? Sometimes there is an anatomical reason. Cranberry pills do not work. No vitamin is relevant. You may need a GYN urologist or an infectious disease DR if your regular Dr cannot help you. Many women are supplied with pills to take for 1 to 3 days whenever the symptoms recur.
