UTI in Children: Any urinary tract infection in a child must be carefully worked up by the pediatrician and pediatric urologist to rule out an anatomical anomaly or reflux of urine back into the kidneys that can lead to scarring. Please consult with your doctor right away , especially if the child is under 10.
