Throat pain: Such "occult" sensations are best evaluated by a physician. Unfortunately, without a careful exam and possibly some other tests, it's hard to say what is causing the sensations.

I am experiencing heartburn (gerd), burping and sore throat. for the past week I am feeling pain in throat. food does not bother me. The scale of the pain is like 2 (1-10). I am also experiencing heartburn (since long) get worse eating spicy food.
No heartburn or difficultly swallowing. Do have lump feeling, sore throat and once in a while sour taste. Not a cold. GERD?
Can anxiety/stress cause GERD or reflux-like symptoms such as feeling of gas or burning sensations in the throat?
Have GERD Is ranitidine better than Nexium (esomeprazole) and Pepcid to help take away burning stuck feeling in throat.
