My doctor might switch me from paxil 50mg right over to prozac 60mg in hope i will have weightloss, will i most probably?

Prozac & Weight Loss: It's difficult to tell for sure. I remember when Prozac first came on the market, weight loss was noticed as an unintended side effect in some patients. However, it didn't happen in everyone. Paxil and Cymbalta have been shown to cause weight gain in many patients. I would give the change to Prozac, maybe at a lower than 60 mg dose to start.
