Osgood Schlatters: Osgood Schlatter's disease becomes much better after bony maturity, but can still get bumped and bruised - it is a bony bump. Put some ice on it and it should be better in a few days.

Rest: Bruising usually represents some degree of bleeding into the soft tissues. Although it is not terribly common, the tibial tuberosity involved in osgood-schlatters can become separated from the tibia. I would rest it and certainly avoid any jumping activities. If it does not improve or if it is painful it would be wise to be checked.
