Usually not...: Osgood schlatter is usually seen in adolescents, and most symptoms resolve as you age. If you are experiencing pain into adulthood then see a physician to see if you may have a secondary issue that may be causing pain in a similar way. Patella tendonitis/ tendonosis, meniscal pathologies, patella femoral syndrome, and others may cause pain in the front of knee near the tibial tublercle.
