Can anything provide a false positive on an echo when it comes to mvp?

If it is uncertain: whether you have MVP on an ECHO or not then it is probably so insignificant that you really shouldn't be worried about it at all. Severe MVP will not be questionable and should be followed. MVP that might be a "false positive" is insignificant. Relax, you probably have a normal valve.
