How often should someone with ms get a mri? i had one about 12 months ago, have since been diagnosed and have been on tecfidera for a month or so.

A year: Generally speaking once a year would be a good approach.. of course much sooner if there is clinical deterioration/ progression.

MS and MRIs: If you are not having any new symptoms or "flareups" no need to get MRI and there again you already have the DX of MS a new MRI will not yield any new information. A flare -up may indicate you need an increase in an existing med or a change in meds. Unless there is something new or unexplainable
