Nonspecific MRI findings do not confirm MS unless the images are c/w McDonald criteria. Tecfidera is usually safe but can cause nausea and vomiting, and flushing. PML infection is rare. Talk with doc about EMG results, as this study would be looking for peripheral nerve problems, not an evaluation for brain or spinal cord.

Could I have multiple sclerosis even if my MRI was normal? I have a lot of the symptoms (muscle spasm, weakness, tingling down my back and legs), but my MRI didnt show anything. Can an MRI miss ms?
