I was diagnose with ms in 2016, first medication was copaxone then glatopa and now i take tecfidera 240 mg with all these i still have flare ups and stay in the hospital, my dr recommend for me mavenclad (oral) or lemtrada(iv) what is your advise?

By UPTODATE, those 2 medications belong to the group with highest efficacy. If you prefer a self-administered oral medication over medications requiring injections and infusions you can choose mavenclad or vice versa.

Both medications are very effective and possible that treatment effects may last for years. However, the CD-20’s may be better for disability and Ocrevus or Kesimpta are good choices but may increase COVID-19 risk. Have found Lemtrada the best overall. Get a second opinion
