Fibroid removal: If you are having heavy bleeding, pain or your uterus is greater than 12 weeks size, removing the fibroid or uterus is advisable Fibroids tend to be multiple and can return after surgery. If you have completed childbearing then uterine removal is a consideration. If you have not or just desire to retain the uterus knowing the risk of fibroid return then myomectomy is a consideration.(only fibroid)
