Depends: Treatment for large fibroid depends on a few factors. If you have completed child bearing, a hysterectomy done by laparoscopy (robotically) or open is appropriate depending on size and availability of technology. On the contrary, you can preserve the uterus by doing a myomectomy (scope or open). Minimally invasive is the preferable way to achieve either procedure.
