Unlikely: Unlikely. These teeth are touching normally. The papilla can become irritated for other reasons.

No: Irritation usually caused by impingement by lower front teeth, gum disease, food impaction, overly agressive brushing, improper flossing, burn, scratch, etc. see your Dentist.
