Milk is fine: Milk does not affect the quality of a chest x-ray. If a person drinks milk as part of her normal diet, she can drink milk before her x-ray. The x-ray result will be the same, with or without the milk. Maybe an issue with the x-ray machine or the technician is the source of the blurry x-ray. Perhaps one can try another facility next time.

X-rays: You don't have anything to eat or drink for an hour before X-ray however I do not think that anything you eat or drink will give you hazy X-rays if the radiographer is well trained
