Lactation consultant: One of the most common problems in breastfeeding moms is that the baby doesn't latch onto the breast properly. This may be due to inverted or flat nipples or weak suck reflex. A lactation consultant can diagnose the underlying problem and develop a plan to help. Remember that in the first few days, the breast will be producing colostrum and not copious milk, so keep trying -this is very important
