A member asked:

I had a hysterectomy and both ovaries removed separately 30 yrs. ago . now a ct showed a left ovary?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More than two?: It is possible that you had more than two ovaries as an anomaly. The best way to know is to contact the surgeon(s) of the two previous separate removals and request a pathology report to document that the tissue removed corresponds to the ovarian removal and you will have your answer.
