I am a 33 yr. old who is post hysterectomy. in april i had a normal ultrasound. i was having gastro issues and i ended up having a ct done. on the ct they found a 2 cm. hypodense mass on my left ovary as well as free fluid. should i be concerned?

A ruptured ovarian cyst or follicle leaks fluid. A normal ultrasound in April is reassuring but I'd rather have your gynecologist advise you about whether further testing or follow-up is advisable.

My 78 year old relative had a CT of the abdomen and pelvis. A unrelated finding was a report of fibroids on her uterus. This was a suprise as she had a hysterectomy 45 years ago. Pelvic ultrasound confirmed no uterus but identified some type of mass.
