Tests are accurate: Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (especially birth control pills), hormonal disorders, etc… A visit to one’s Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.

Treat the vaginitis : Vaginitis caused by bacterias or by yeast/fungus can be quite troublesome but fortunately can be treated. If after these "4 neg. tests" you are concerned about an unplanned pregnancy and need guidance about safe sex practices, consider discussing your reproductive life plans with a knowledgeable Gyn who could offer you an intrauterine device or a subdermal implant . Be safe. Use condoms too.
